Entry, difficulty & preparation

The underwater passages contain white movement boosts and yellow air refills. Keep moving and activate checkpoints before boss attempts.

Source version: read before assigning players

The linked encounter footage uses the older four-player party or eight-player raid format. Current Korean parties and Sanctuary raids have expanded. The mechanics below describe that footage; fixed target counts, assignments and HP triggers must be matched to the encounter you enter. Do not copy an eight-slot raid diagram onto a ten-player raid without checking the live markers. Current NC entry and resurrection rules take precedence over old video advice.

Broodkeeper Nyatman

Call both halves of the tether: “apart, then together.” Clear any enemies that followed the group before pulling.

Tell / phaseYour responseWhy it matters
Two players tetheredSeparate until the tether breaks, then reunite before the new bomb debuffs expire.Remaining apart solves only the first half and leaves both players exposed to the second.
Tank-directed lightning laneAim the line away from the centre. The persistent field limits later movement.
Following wisps / expanding ringsKeep away from wisp explosions; step into space just vacated by an expanding ring.Running outward with the ring can cause repeated hits.

Manager Nayshall

Pick your shelter before the warning. Preserve enough movement to get there rather than spending everything on uptime.

Tell / phaseYour responseWhy it matters
Chakram warningImmediately hide behind a pillar so the pursuing blade collides with it.Waiting for the blade to reach you can leave no time to escape.
Below about 30%Remain near cover for the second consecutive chakram sequence. The first shelter does not finish the mechanic.
Expanding close blast / donut barrierMove into the previously resolved ring instead of retreating through every ring.Multiple hits can kill even when one hit is survivable.

Decaying Devati

Protect the terrain you will need later: keep frontal attacks and poison off the rocks. The source uses the older four-player arrangement; reassess rock assignments for your current difficulty.

Tell / phaseYour responseWhy it matters
Poison Swamp around 65%Climb a surviving outer rock. Hard players use separate rocks because poison clouds damage neighbours. The ground becomes lethal.
Hard late swamp around 25%Reach the top of a three-step rock. The shorter rocks do not protect against the higher poison level.
Poison Rain on playersDrop the repeated circles on small eggs, not on the rocks.Small eggs hatch into creatures that destroy the shelter rocks.
After the fourth rain circleReturn close to Devati for the fear check, then avoid the forward-and-back dash and breath. The sequence continues after the puddles finish.
Long breath / three slams / tail hitDo not assume stagger removes an active breath; leave the rear after the third slam.Persistent attack hitboxes and the tail follow-up punish early re-entry.

Difficulty changes & encounter details

Normal allows shared rocks in the reviewed footage. Hard introduces personal poison clouds and the higher late swamp. The video’s roughly 3,000-power Normal recommendation is a historical creator assessment, not a current admission requirement.

Strategy recommendation

Suggested preparation for this encounter. These assignments are editorial recommendations based on the mechanics above.

DPSPrioritize small eggs with targeted rain and go to assigned shelter early.

After a wipe: fix the cause

Strategy recommendation

Name the failed mechanic before the next pull. Check whether the target moved too early, the group missed its assignment, or a required cooldown was unavailable. Reassign a backup for any job that can target its original owner. Surviving the mechanic comes before completing a damage rotation.

  • Call the next mechanic before the HP threshold; the actual cast may occur later.
  • If a hit-count object is involved, use fast direct hits rather than assuming a long damage cooldown is better.
  • Save burst for a real vulnerability window after the group has completed its movement.
  • Check the current entry panel for loot probabilities and reward availability before spending another run.
