Privacy and accounts

What this site stores

Accounts store a username, a salted password hash, an account role and creation date. We do not ask for an email address. Sign-in creates an essential, HttpOnly session cookie that expires after seven days. Signing out revokes that session.

Submissions

We store your proposed content, sources, review history and timestamps. Pending submissions are private to you and the site owner. Approved content becomes public; private review reasons and account identifiers are not displayed on public entry pages. Do not include personal information in submissions.

Operation and retention

Security controls temporarily use IP addresses to limit request rates. This release has no advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Accounts and submission history remain stored while the service operates. Restricted operational backups support recovery and are rotated separately.

Account support

For an account or data request, sign in and submit a private suggestion titled “Account / data request”. The owner can review it. Automated email recovery and self-service account deletion are not available in this release. Requests involving security or identity require verification before action.
