GLOBAL LAUNCH · A PRACTICAL ROADMAP

Progression Guide

Know what to do next, what to spend on, and when to move on.

Start at your current Item Level. Follow the stage checklist, then use the daily routine to keep making progress between dungeon rewards.

Based on Leonis’s 2 October 2026 Global launch route. Reviewed 3 October. Milestones are planning checkpoints; check current in-game requirements. The 30-hour result is not a promise.

Read the right number

Item Level / Gear Score
The milestone numbers on this page. Compare them with the selected dungeon’s entry panel.

Combat Power
A separate character measure. Stigma, skills and other progression can help your character without an equivalent Item Level increase.

AION2 Codex player rankings use Combat Power. Do not compare their large CP numbers with the 1400 or 1600 stages here.

01Before 1000Finish the story. Build your foundation.

Your goal: Reach level 45, finish the main story and collect the permanent rewards along your route.

  1. Use the main story as your route

Follow the main quest through your own faction's zones. Collect accessible feathers and complete nearby side quests, Sealed Dungeons and Strongholds as you travel. After the story, revisit unfinished reward objectives rather than moving straight into an endless dungeon grind.

  2. Collect and claim the rewards

Side quests and Sealed Dungeons supply useful equipment and progression points in the source route. Check the quest reward, claim completed objectives and spend unlocked skill or Daevanion points on your class plan. A completed map icon is not the same as having equipped the reward or allocated the points.

  3. Develop your belt and amulet

The creator takes the green belt and amulet to +10, converts them to blue through Substance Morph, raises the blue versions to +10 and converts them to legendary. Inspect the recipe for your exact item and collect its required scrolls. His legendary belt and Revelation Amulet remain at +0 during later milestones; this route does not require every legendary accessory to be +10.

  4. Treat Monolith as a separate progression track

Collect the feathers available to your faction and region, then inspect the relevant Monolith rewards. These rewards and divine-stat benefits should not be described as a fixed increase in Gear Score. Check what you actually received and which character statistic changed.

Spend on this first

Spend first on completing usable equipment and your core class setup. Keep rare materials for the next meaningful replacement instead of perfecting every temporary item.

Avoid this mistake

Do not pause the story to perfect low-level gear. If you are short of the next milestone, inspect unfinished rewards and missing upgrades before spending heavily on temporary equipment.

Ready for the next step?

  • Main story completed and level 45 reached.
  • Useful side-quest, Sealed Dungeon and Stronghold rewards claimed.
  • Belt/amulet conversion requirements checked; core skills and Daevanion points allocated.
  • Around 1000 Item Level, or a clear list of the missing upgrades keeping you below it.
021000 → 1400Claim the Abyss reward. Upgrade with a budget.

Your goal: Build a practical first set and prepare for Vakron Sky Island at 1400.

  1. Do the Abyss introduction

Follow the Abyss access quest and inspect its equipment reward. Leonis claims a legendary guard for his Templar; another class should follow its own compatible weapon or off-hand reward. Visit the nearby vendor and check the weekly quest scrolls available to your character.

  2. Combine Abyss quests with exploration

Complete manageable scroll objectives and collect accessible Abyss feathers for the separate Monolith. This is a PvP-enabled region even when your immediate objective is a quest or collectible. Go with a group if necessary, and switch to the PvE material loop when repeated deaths make the route unproductive.

  3. Prioritize useful Stigmas

The creator puts Abyss Points toward Stigma Shards to strengthen his skills. Treat this as his early PvE spending priority, not a requirement to buy every possible upgrade. Check your class guide, current shop stock and the next useful Stigma rank before spending. This can improve combat effectiveness without the same increase in Item Level.

  4. Use the first enhancement targets

His starting budget is +10 on the legendary weapon, guard and quest bracelet, with temporary blue equipment at +3. Apply this by item quality and how long you will keep it; do not raise every blue item to +10 just to imitate the best pieces. Check the displayed chance, cost and failure consequence before each upgrade.

  5. Add economical Manastones and keep runes equipped

For temporary blue gear, the source uses Lesser Manastones and aims for at least one green-quality stat line. For longer-lasting legendary gear, it uses Intermediate Manastones and aims for two blue-quality lines. Choose useful stats for your class and stop chasing perfect rolls when the next gear replacement is close. Start with two Clash Runes around +1; use spare runes for further enhancement because a failure can destroy a rune in the demonstrated system.

Spend on this first

Complete the high-value quest pieces, then fund their enhancement. Keep a working pair of runes and avoid spending your whole reserve on temporary sockets.

Avoid this mistake

A higher Combat Power number is not the same as meeting a dungeon's Item Level requirement. The video's roughly 1400 result is a personal outcome, not a guaranteed total from copying three upgrades.

Ready for the next step?

  • Abyss introduction reward checked for your class.
  • Core legendary pieces enhanced within your material budget; temporary gear kept inexpensive.
  • Two usable Clash Runes equipped and useful Manastone lines in place.
  • The current Vakron Sky Island Exploration panel confirms you meet its requirements.
031400 → 1600Turn guaranteed rewards into better armor.

Your goal: Use Vakron Sky Island rewards to replace weak slots, then improve the set you will keep.

  1. Begin with Vakron Sky Island — Exploration

The reviewed screen shows level 45 and 1400 Item Level for this mode. Leonis recommends three runs to reach its guaranteed selection reward and takes the chest armor. Before spending energy, read your own Guaranteed Reward progress and claim conditions: use the current counter if it differs from the video.

  2. Separate the armor slot from the reward chest

The selection window contains several armor pieces. The creator chooses Vakron Breastplate, meaning the chest armor slot; the container is not itself a guaranteed random chest-armor drop from every clear. Compare your current chest piece and any drops already obtained before selecting.

  3. Move into the Conquest version

When eligible and able to clear reliably, spend the next portion of your energy on Vakron Sky Island Conquest. Work toward its separate guaranteed reward while keeping useful random drops. Do not assume the Exploration run count or progress carries into this mode.

  4. Choose gloves, then boots when appropriate

In this route the next armor target is gloves, looking for Combat Speed; if useful gloves have already dropped, boots with Movement Speed become the alternative. A selection reward guarantees the offered item choice under its conditions, not the stat roll you hope to receive. Choose the largest useful upgrade in your own set.

  5. Review the whole set at 1600

His later snapshot uses legendary dungeon pieces at +10 and several remaining pieces around +7, while the legendary belt and amulet stay +0. That is a description of his set, not an instruction to enhance every slot equally. Compare cost versus the next access threshold and continue earning materials between energy runs.

Spend on this first

Target a useful guaranteed armor replacement before expensive fine-tuning. Keep enough materials to enhance the new piece when it arrives.

Avoid this mistake

Do not mix Exploration and Conquest reward counters, or mistake a guaranteed item selection for a guaranteed Combat Speed roll.

Ready for the next step?

  • Exploration selection reward checked and claimed when eligible.
  • Conquest rewards used to improve weak armor slots without unnecessary duplicates.
  • Useful new pieces equipped and enhanced; current skills and Stigmas still fit your role.
  • Around 1600 Item Level and ready to inspect Transcendence Stage 1.
041600 → 1900Start Transcendence. Fill missing Arcana slots.

Your goal: Add early Arcana while continuing your reliable armor and material loop.

  1. Check Stage 1 access and rewards

The source starts Transcendence at 1600; the Shattered Arkanis Stage 1 screen shows level 45 and 1600. Read the current entry requirements and the energy cost of claiming rewards. A clear and an energy-funded reward claim are different steps.

  2. Visit both complementary Arcana sources

Leonis recommends an initial reward run in Shattered Arkanis and in the Deus research dungeon. His explanation assigns Mirror and Parchment cards to the former, Bell and Compass to the latter. The Shattered Arkanis reward screen visibly lists Mirror and Parchment variants. Check the reward list for the exact dungeon and stage you select.

  3. Fill gaps before chasing ideal rolls

Equip suitable cards you actually obtain in their matching slots. For the initial access push, the creator prioritizes higher rarity over perfect stats because these early cards will be replaced. Once you already have a card in a slot, compare the replacement's skill and stat effects before discarding the old one.

  4. Return to the efficient progression loop

Continue useful Expedition rewards, enhancement materials, class upgrades and available world activities. Reserve some energy for the next Arcana improvement, but do not repeat a difficult Stage 1 clear indefinitely just because a particular slot has not dropped. Reassess your next guaranteed equipment reward too.

Spend on this first

Balance missing Arcana coverage against predictable equipment improvements. A first useful card can be a better next target than another round of temporary gear rerolls.

Avoid this mistake

One clear of each dungeon does not guarantee all four card types. The visible Arcana table is a probability-based reward pool; duplicate cards and missing slots remain possible.

Ready for the next step?

  • Stage 1 access confirmed and initial reward runs attempted when affordable.
  • Obtained Arcana equipped in the appropriate slots; missing types recorded.
  • Gear, skill and material loops continued instead of relying on a single lucky drop.
  • Near 1900 Item Level; check the current Stage 2 requirements before moving up.
051900 → 2100Improve Arcana and prepare for Fire Temple.

Your goal: Use higher-stage rewards and targeted gear upgrades to reach your next dungeon tier.

  1. Inspect Transcendence Stage 2

The creator's next milestone is the Stage 2 / roughly 1900 step, where he points to blue Arcana upgrades. Treat 1900 as the guide's next planning checkpoint and verify the selected dungeon's live requirement. Move up only when your group can complete the mechanics consistently.

  2. Upgrade useful card slots

Compare newly acquired blue cards against your equipped cards. Rarity is a convenient early sorting aid, but the skill bonuses, stat effects and your intended PvE role still matter. Keep useful alternatives while you learn which setup performs better.

  3. Spend toward the remaining gap

Check which armor slots, enhancements or Arcana slots are still holding back access. Select the next attainable reward that addresses that gap. Continue duties, material activities and class development rather than spending all resources on marginal rolls in an already strong slot.

  4. Prepare your group role

Before the next dungeon, review the encounter guide, take appropriate consumables and choose skills for your actual party job. A damage-focused Templar's priorities are not automatically the same as a tanking Templar's, or a healer's.

Spend on this first

Prefer useful replacements and reliable clears. A harder stage that your group cannot finish is not automatically a better use of your session.

Avoid this mistake

The video's 1800-in-30-hours headline is one player's result. It is not a completion deadline, a drop guarantee or a requirement to play the same hours.

Ready for the next step?

  • Current Stage 2 access and reward pool checked.
  • New Arcana compared and equipped where useful.
  • Around 2100 Item Level, with the intended Fire Temple mode's actual requirements confirmed.
  • Mechanics, supplies and party role prepared.
062100+Start the next gear tier deliberately.

Your goal: Move into Fire Temple when eligible and rebuild your upgrade plan around its rewards.

  1. Confirm the exact Fire Temple mode

Leonis names 2100 and Fire Temple as his next goal. That closing statement is a roadmap target, not a complete demonstration of every mode or reward rule. Inspect the mode you intend to enter, including level, Item Level, party and reward requirements.

  2. Learn the encounter before committing your session

Read the relevant boss guide and agree on your group responsibilities. If a guide uses Korean or Taiwanese footage, check the mode and compare the mechanic with the current Global encounter. Work on repeatable clears before maximizing damage at the expense of survival.

  3. Replace slots with a plan

Compare the available rewards with your existing Vakron pieces. Decide which slot you want next and keep enough enhancement materials to use the replacement. Preserve useful older pieces until the new set is actually functional.

Spend on this first

A reliable group, understood mechanics and a useful next reward matter more than copying a finished endgame character.

Avoid this mistake

This source stops at the Fire Temple target. Later endgame tiers, best-in-slot sets and exact farming efficiencies are outside its demonstrated route.

Ready for the next step?

  • Correct mode requirements checked in game.
  • Party role and encounter plan understood.
  • Next equipment target chosen from the actual available rewards.

EVERY SESSION

A routine you can repeat

Choose one meaningful upgrade for the session. Use this order as a flexible plan, with expiring rewards taking priority.

  1. Check reset timers, expiring attempts and current Odyle Energy before choosing your session goal.
  2. Claim completed quest, achievement and progression rewards; equip useful items and allocate earned points.
  3. Inspect Daily Duties for useful energy or materials, keeping rerolls within your budget.
  4. Spend energy on the dungeon or Arcana source that solves your current stage's biggest gap. Check guaranteed reward progress first.
  5. While energy recovers, work on incomplete map rewards, an available Rift, suitable events or a useful world boss.
  6. Apply the worthwhile upgrades, then use performance-sensitive attempts before their own reset. End by noting one clear target for the next session.

This routine and its spending safeguards are AION2 Codex editorial synthesis. Reset times and activity limits must be read in your current game.

BETWEEN DUNGEON REWARDS

What to do when energy runs out

Keep gathering materials and character upgrades. “No dungeon energy” does not mean unlimited entries or no other cost.

Spacetime Rifts

Use an available Rift to reach the opposing faction's map; target accessible Sealed Dungeons and Strongholds for progression rewards and enhancement materials.

Check the live opening schedule and remaining visit time. The speaker is unsure about the interval, so this guide does not repeat it as a timer. Enemy-faction access does not mean every feather is collectible.

Leonis · 5:12 ↗
Daily Duties

After finishing the main story, open Journal → Duty. Look for Odyle Energy rewards first; enhancement materials are a useful alternative in this route.

Inspect the reroll cost and remaining attempts before refreshing. Set a spending limit; the video is not proof that unlimited rerolling is profitable.

Leonis · 7:24 ↗
World bosses and Pantheon

Check announced boss activity and the reward list. The creator values Artwork rewards even when the equipment is no longer an upgrade. Place useful owned decor in Pantheon and compare its active display effects.

A listed Artwork is not a guaranteed drop from every kill. Match the boss, participation rules and reward availability before committing travel time.

Leonis · 6:36 ↗
Shugo Festival and Supply Requests

Check available events and requests while recovering energy. Choose activities offering materials or rewards that address your next upgrade.

These are suggested activities in the source, not an exhaustive reward or eligibility table. Read their current entry limits and costs.

Leonis · 6:05 ↗
Abyss and arenas

If you enjoy or can manage PvP, continue relevant objectives and compare shop rewards with your Stigma and Daevanion needs.

PvP is optional in this editorial routine. A PvE-focused player can continue map rewards, duties and boss activities, although the reward mix and pace will differ.

Leonis · 6:08 ↗
Nightmare, Daily Dungeons and Ascension Trial

Use a stronger setup for attempts whose rewards improve with performance. Schedule them after useful upgrades when the reset window allows.

Check each mode's own reset and entry stock. Do not treat all three as weekly or postpone a daily reward until it expires. The source's late-attempt advice does not override the current timer.

Progress slowed down?

I cannot meet the Item Level requirement

Inspect unequipped quest rewards, weak equipment slots, affordable enhancement and missing Arcana. Read the exact access requirement; a CP increase alone may not solve it.

I meet the requirement but cannot clear

Check your skill plan, Stigmas, supplies, party role and the mechanic causing deaths. Gear Score is an entry measure, not proof of damage, healing or execution.

I have no energy

Use the world-activity table and check Daily Duties. These activities may use other entries, currency or timers even when they do not consume dungeon Odyle Energy.

I am running out of enhancement materials or Kinah

Stop perfecting temporary gear. Return to unfinished world rewards and material activities, then compare the next enhancement cost with a guaranteed replacement.

My guaranteed reward gave the wrong stats

Separate the selected equipment piece from its rolled stats. Keep the usable upgrade and compare it with future drops; do not assume the next selection guarantees a specific roll.

A Rift feather cannot be collected

Check the collectible's faction and region requirements. The video recommends enemy-map Sealed Dungeons and Strongholds; it does not establish access to every opposing-faction feather.

Global launch progression on a Templar. Full 13:09 auto-generated English transcript reviewed, with selected equipment, Expedition and Transcendence screens checked visually. This is a creator route, not an independently reproduced leveling test.

Visual checks include the enhancement notes around 3:45, the Vakron Exploration selection and 1400 requirement at 9:27, and the Shattered Arkanis Stage 1 requirement and Mirror/Parchment reward pool at 11:12. Statements elsewhere in the route are attributed to the creator’s explanation. The exact server and client build were not independently identified.

We do not carry forward the uncertain Rift interval, a fixed Global Gear Score formula, a guarantee of four Arcana cards from two runs, or a blanket instruction to delay daily entries. The 1900/2100 steps are roadmap targets from the ending, not an independently tested endgame route. Class-dependent item choices, timers, rewards and costs should be checked in game.
