Wrong weapon drop? Get the weapon you need.
A dagger dropped, but you use a mace. Keep it: dungeon vouchers can turn that unwanted weapon into a choice.

Keep the unwanted Aulamus weapon
Do not sell or extract it if you plan to use the selection-chest recipe. Aulamus Dagger is an accepted ingredient.
Collect two Urugugu vouchers
Work toward the Conquest Guaranteed Reward and select the matching Gear Change Voucher. Track reward claims, not just dungeon entries.
Make the chest, then choose your weapon
Use Substance Morph with the weapon, two vouchers and 1,500,000 Kina. Open the resulting chest and select Aulamus Mace—or the Aulamus weapon your class needs.
Why did a weapon I cannot use drop?
Urugugu Canyon has a shared reward pool containing multiple weapon types. A reward is not guaranteed to match your class. Its Aulamus pool includes greatsword, longsword, dagger, bow, spellbook, orb, mace and staff, alongside accessories.
Aulamus Mace does drop here. The three weapon icons in the dungeon overview are not the full loot list. Check the detailed rewards using the % control beside Cube Reward.
Two separate uncertainties matter: whether you receive an Aulamus weapon and whether it is your weapon type. Eight weapon types does not mean a one-in-eight chance of getting a mace on every clear. We do not quote an unverified per-clear drop rate.
Where to get Gear Change Vouchers
The Urugugu voucher tooltip identifies Divine Auldor as its source. For a planned route, use Urugugu Canyon · Conquest → Guaranteed Reward. The Global client-data guide lists a reward choice every 21 claims: an Aulamus accessory or the dungeon's Gear Change Voucher.
- Complete the dungeon and claim the boss Cube reward using Odyle Energy. Check the counter afterward; entering or clearing without claiming is not the same as a reward claim.
- When the Guaranteed Reward is ready, inspect its contents and select Gear Change Voucher: Urugugu Canyon (Bound) if your goal is weapon conversion.
- Repeat until you have two matching vouchers. A voucher from a different dungeon is not the ingredient named by this recipe.
Do not expect a voucher on every boss kill. The tooltip names the source but does not promise that drop frequency. The 21-claim choice is supported by Global client-data research; verify the choices and quantity in your current reward window.
Example: your counter reads 6/21
You need 15 more counter increments for the next guaranteed reward. If each completed cycle supplies one voucher, starting with zero vouchers means 15 + 21 = 36 additional claims for two. This is a conditional planning example, not a promise of 36 dungeon runs. Check how your reward claims advance the counter, and remember that the desired weapon may drop before then.

Dagger to mace: the exact recipe
Open Substance Morph and search for Urugugu Canyon: Weapon Selection Chest.

The checked game screen shows 100% success. Morph consumes the listed materials and produces one selection chest; it does not directly equip a mace. Open the chest, check the weapon name, and select Aulamus Mace.
This is a material-conversion recipe, not a demonstrated enhancement-transfer system. Do not assume the input weapon's enhancement, Soul Binding, stones or other investments will carry over. We have not observed a completed conversion or measured its Gear Score effect.
Before you spend
Morph is disabled, even though I have the dagger
Read every material row. Dagger 1/1 and sufficient Kina still leave the recipe blocked if the voucher row is red and reads 0/2. You need both vouchers.
Should I keep farming just for a mace?
You can get it as a direct reward while progressing toward vouchers. Keep an eligible unwanted weapon as the conversion ingredient. If the mace drops first, reassess before paying the conversion cost.
Is this the same as the Guaranteed Reward chest?
No. The dungeon's Guaranteed Reward offers its own choices. The Weapon Selection Chest on the Substance Morph screen is the product you craft using vouchers and a weapon.
Does a green comparison arrow mean I should equip the dagger?
No. Higher item stats do not make a weapon suitable for your class or skills. A comparison arrow also does not establish the exact change to your character's Gear Score.
Plan the rest of your gear
The crafting catalogue may show a representative weapon ingredient. The checked in-game recipe accepts Aulamus Dagger; confirm your selected material in Substance Morph.
