Learn the encounter before your next pull. This guide is an original English synthesis of reviewed YouTube captions and official Korean mode rules. Follow the specific difficulty and source version shown below.
Mechanic instructions follow the cited gameplay explanation. HP percentages identify approximate phase triggers, not a guaranteed attack timeline.
Entry, difficulty & preparation
Bring two tanks and plan faction-action keybinds, warmth pairs, rope partners, crystal damage types and pillar order. On the route between encounters, reveal the ice-bingo tiles and avoid the large central blue orb while using the outer route to open the passage.

| Mode covered | Current Korean raid mechanics |
| Group | 10 players — current Korean Sanctuary |
| Entry requirements | Official item levels: Easy 5,800; Normal 6,000; Hard 6,200. The videos explain the Korean encounter; do not assume every damage value or target count is identical across modes. NC lists weapon rewards for Hard. |
| Before pulling | Agree assignments, activate available checkpoints, clear pursuing enemies and prepare movement, defensive and stagger skills. |

First guardian — temperature & crystals
This boss’s English name is not established by the reviewed captions, so it is identified by encounter role. The Korean source is 강코딩 / Gangcoding; the breath positions are that creator’s coordinated plan.
| Tell / phase | Your response | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Six frozen hearts on the approach | Destroy the hearts and move with partners to maintain warmth. Mark cardinal positions before the boss. | Falling temperature slows and eventually freezes isolated players. |
| Furthest charge and tank breath | Bait the charge and breath away from the group; the distant block target prepares a defence while teammates remain close enough for warmth. | Uncontrolled facing scatters the party and its heat support. |
| Personal red floor | Drop it at the edge and jump or disengage back as it expands. | Dropping centrally removes the safe working area. |
| Main cold-object phase | Split into two groups, initially at 3 and 9 o’clock, and rotate clockwise through the objects. In the source plan tanks first aim breaths at 12/6, then 3/9 after the rotating door. | Breathing on the same warmth object again can destroy it. The door’s direction must be read live. |
| After the first stagger | Prepare the two successive furthest-player block checks. | The second hit can catch a group that resumes damage too soon. |
| Crystals around half health | Physical attackers take red crystals; magic attackers take blue. | The wrong damage type cannot solve the crystal efficiently. |
| Numbered drops and final ice | Place numbered marks at the outer edge in order, then use the remaining space for the final damage check. | The late ice shrinks the room and the source describes a short enrage window. |

Deltras — warmth, ropes & phase one
The source describes a phase-two checkpoint. Use it to organize a retry rather than assuming every failure restarts phase one. Detailed source: Storyteller’s Korean explanation.
| Tell / phase | Your response | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Rope rescue | Target through the cone with the faction action, then press again to pull the teammate forward. Practice this before the pull. | Several mechanics require another player to reposition you. |
| Greatsword attack on main tank | Main tank takes it alone. Teammates rope the chilled tank back into warmth; the off-tank becomes the nearest eligible target for the follow-up. | This is a tank exchange and warmth recovery, not an attack the group should stack in. |
| Thrust, spin and backward jump | Keep the tank-directed sequence pointed away from the raid. | A repositioned tank can sweep the group with the next attack. |
| Snowflake floor mark | Drop it far from the group; in phase two it persists. | Poor placement removes space for later ropes and waves. |
| Crystal minigame around 75% | Melee at cardinals aim lines through purple moving crystals and let blue crystals pass. Sidestep your line after it locks. | Breaking blue crystals adds raid damage and vulnerability. |
| Falling ice wedges during crystals | Ranged stand outside the second ring, cover cardinal wedges and bait arrows outward. | An unhandled wedge wipes the group; inward arrows endanger the melee puzzle team. |
| Phase-two entry | Mark pillars 1–5 and enter the windstream together. | Players left outside the boss area can die during the transition. |

Deltras — phase two & cold wave
The ten-player cold-wave allocation is from the reviewed Korean guide. Watch its segment around 15:37 together, assign rope partners and agree each group’s exit edge before pulling.
| Tell / phase | Your response | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Four pool drops | Wait for all four before closing in, join the shared hit, then separate the numbered sprinkler marks while others jump waves. | Early gap-closing drops the last pool into the stack. |
| Pillar breath around 80% | Four donut targets stay still. Unmarked players shelter behind the chosen pillar and rope the targets into cover before the breath. | Walking into your own ring is dangerous; the pillar is destroyed after sheltering the raid. |
| Greatsword returns | Repeat the tank exchange and rope the chilled tank back into warmth. | Phase two retains the earlier temperature responsibility. |
| Crystal phase around 50% | Melee cover 12/3/6/9; ranged shift to 2/5/8/11, kill wedges and bait arrows outward. | The ranged positions differ from phase one. |
| Immediately after the crystal stagger | Move for the next pillar breath instead of extending a damage rotation. | The short damage window is followed directly by another shelter check. |
| After two pillars | Party one takes the left and party two the right for the pool setup, then resolves stack and sprinklers. Keep persistent flakes far away. | The remaining floor must support both groups’ movement. |
| Cold wave around 15%: ten-player setup | Use the source’s 1/4/1/4 arrangement: northeast party-one tank; northwest its other four players; southwest party-two tank; southeast its other four. | Each quadrant needs warmth and a planned rope partner, not an improvised scatter. |
| Cold condensates and wave marks | Use positive warmth to melt your quadrant’s condensates. Marked players take the agreed edge; assigned partners rope them across without aiming waves through the group. After clearing, retrieve the tanks and regroup. | Rope timing and direction must be agreed before the cast; uncontrolled waves hit the other team. |
| After the wave | Stay ready for another pillar breath, even without the earlier donut sequence. | The source reports a repeat in the final portion; finishing damage does not remove the shelter responsibility. |

Current resurrection & reward rules
NC currently lists ten-player Sanctuary raids. During a boss encounter, each character has two resurrections combined across resurrection skills and spirit stones. The encounter allowance resets on encounter start, boss defeat or a wipe. Ordinary resurrection and kisk resurrection are outside this boss allowance. Do not follow older advice that assumes only one class can revive players. Check the entry panel before the final kill: current Sanctuary reward and re-entry restrictions differ by raid.

Tank, healer & DPS assignments
Strategy recommendationSuggested preparation for this encounter. These assignments are editorial recommendations based on the mechanics above.
| Role | Assignment |
|---|---|
| Tank | Alternate greatsword responsibility and call warmth recovery before the next attack. |
| Healer / support | Stay with warmth groups and coordinate recovery without blocking rope paths. |
| DPS | Respect crystal colours, kill every ice wedge and stop damage for immediate pillar transitions. |

After a wipe: fix the cause
Strategy recommendationName the failed mechanic before the next pull. Check whether the target moved too early, the group missed its assignment, or a required cooldown was unavailable. Reassign a backup for any job that can target its original owner. Surviving the mechanic comes before completing a damage rotation.
- Call the next mechanic before the HP threshold; the actual cast may occur later.
- If a hit-count object is involved, use fast direct hits rather than assuming a long damage cooldown is better.
- Save burst for a real vulnerability window after the group has completed its movement.
- Check the current entry panel for loot probabilities and reward availability before spending another run.
