Learn the encounter before your next pull. This guide is an original English synthesis of reviewed YouTube captions and official reference-client mode rules. Follow the specific difficulty and source version shown below.
Mechanic instructions follow the cited gameplay explanation. HP percentages identify approximate phase triggers, not a guaranteed attack timeline.
Entry, difficulty & preparation
Avoid the red mines and roaming red orbs. Defeat the gatekeeper and activate the final checkpoint before riding the windstream to Berk.
| Check | What to use |
|---|---|
| Mode covered | Normal & Hard |
| Group | Up to 5 — current reference-client party format |
| Entry requirements | Select this dungeon and difficulty in the entry panel. Check character level, item level, minimum party size and remaining entries there. The reviewed mechanic videos do not establish a current numeric admission threshold. |
| Before pulling | Agree assignments, activate available checkpoints, clear pursuing enemies and prepare movement, defensive and stagger skills. |
Enhanced Harcon
The reviewed route visits Harcon before Gadioton. Some older routes reverse the two; identify the boss by its name rather than by a numbered route alone.
| Tell / phase | Your response | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Centre jump, around 75% / 35% | Read both sets of lines. Move into the first safe area, then change position for the crossing second set. | The second volley does not preserve the first safe space. |
| Beam or ground puddles | Leave the lingering line immediately; the tank places targeted pools away from the route through the room. | Remaining inside causes repeated damage. |
| Below roughly 50% | Watch the whole floor for additional scattered pools. | A safe tank position alone no longer protects the group. |
Neglected Gadioton
Keep a clear path between the boss and the next safe patch of floor. Do not bring pursuing red orbs into the fight.
| Tell / phase | Your response | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Teleport followed by beam | Find the boss again and step out of its firing lane. | Losing sight of the teleport can put you in a persistent damage field. |
| Slow projectile, then close explosion | The tank sidesteps the projectile and everyone respects the follow-up area. | Dodging only the first attack is insufficient. |
| Centre pull near 35% | Use the pull as the cue to move away from the close-range blast. | Continuing an animation at the centre adds avoidable damage. |
Ultimate Berk
Reserve a high-stagger skill for the 50% check. Do not spend it just because the boss has entered a normal damage window.
| Tell / phase | Your response | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Wave of Fury, around 75% / 35% | Move out of the centre arrival blast, then put a rock pillar between you and Berk. Hard: choose the intact glowing pillar. | Hard has decoy pillars that crumble before the lethal wave. |
| Extinction cast near 50% | Immediately spend stagger damage as a group. The reviewed cast lasts about nine seconds. | Ordinary damage alone does not stop the wipe. |
| Line → side sweep → broad frontal | Move behind Berk after the first line appears and continue watching the floor. | The final frontal leaves only a narrow rear safe area. |
| Spinning pursuit | Melee disengage; the tank guides the spin away from teammates. | Repeated hits and bleed overwhelm healing. |
| Alternating cross patterns / late circles | Move into the space just vacated by the first cross; avoid stun circles on the path to pillars. | A stun during the shelter phase can make you miss cover. |
Difficulty changes & encounter details
Hard adds false shelter pillars and extra line pressure. The recent source is the primary mechanic reference; earlier guides may use a different miniboss order.
Tank, healer & DPS assignments
Strategy recommendationSuggested preparation for this encounter. These assignments are editorial recommendations based on the mechanics above.
| Role | Assignment |
|---|---|
| Tank | Face normal attacks away from the group; kite the spin into clear floor. |
| Healer / support | Save recovery for spin mistakes, but move to shelter early yourself. |
| DPS | Keep stagger available for the mandatory check and stop chasing the spin. |
After a wipe: fix the cause
Strategy recommendationName the failed mechanic before the next pull. Check whether the target moved too early, the group missed its assignment, or a required cooldown was unavailable. Reassign a backup for any job that can target its original owner. Surviving the mechanic comes before completing a damage rotation.
- Call the next mechanic before the HP threshold; the actual cast may occur later.
- If a hit-count object is involved, use fast direct hits rather than assuming a long damage cooldown is better.
- Save burst for a real vulnerability window after the group has completed its movement.
- Check the current entry panel for loot probabilities and reward availability before spending another run.
