Learn the encounter before your next pull. This guide is an original English synthesis of reviewed YouTube captions and official reference-client mode rules. Follow the specific difficulty and source version shown below.
Mechanic instructions follow the cited gameplay explanation. HP percentages identify approximate phase triggers, not a guaranteed attack timeline.
Entry, difficulty & preparation
Kill the wind mage to open the windstream route, use the jump pads and activate checkpoints as the group advances.
| Check | What to use |
|---|---|
| Mode covered | Normal & Hard |
| Group | Up to 5 — current reference-client party format |
| Entry requirements | Select this dungeon and difficulty in the entry panel. Check character level, item level, minimum party size and remaining entries there. The reviewed mechanic videos do not establish a current numeric admission threshold. |
| Before pulling | Agree assignments, activate available checkpoints, clear pursuing enemies and prepare movement, defensive and stagger skills. |
Guardian Captain Raur
Call “stop” as the shield stance begins. A clean counter phase requires restraint from the entire party.
| Tell / phase | Your response | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Shield planted / counter stance after about 70% | Stop attacking for the counter window, including repeated queued attacks. | Hits reflect damage and build the following explosion. |
| Dash away from the tank | Tank closes back to melee after the dash; others leave its line. | Excess distance triggers a leash and delayed ground bomb. |
| Jump or close explosion | Move out of the landing area, then return once resolved. | Repeated avoidable hits increase healer pressure. |
Judge Urahum
Preserve the centre. A messy floor is usually the result of missed attacks and uncontrolled poison drops, not a reason to run randomly.
| Tell / phase | Your response | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Poison debuff after being hit | Take the delayed pool toward the outer edge before it expires. | The pool remains for a long time and removes usable floor. |
| Speed buff around 65% | Expect faster sequences: expanding close blasts and a clawing dash. | The second half allows less time to react. |
| Radial projectile lines | Use the gaps and avoid turning a single hit into overlapping poison drops. | Poor pool placement makes later dodges harder. |
Divine Auldor
Watch the target marker as well as the tornado lanes. In Hard, the airborne grab follow-up is also a shared-damage marker.
| Tell / phase | Your response | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Wide tornado lines | Step between the projectiles. If a player is lifted, anticipate the grab-and-slam follow-up. | The airborne hit triggers another mechanic. |
| Centre phase around 75% / 35% | Dodge crossing tornadoes while moving to the stack target. The source requires at least one partner with the target. | Leaving the targeted player alone is lethal. |
| Outer storm from about 35% | Keep the group inside the remaining arena and share damage there. | The outer storm persists through the end of the fight. |
| Tank-directed rectangle / dash trail | Keep the frontal lane away from the stack route and leave the residual trail. | A path across the stack can cut off rescuers. |
Difficulty changes & encounter details
Hard adds a further radial tornado pattern and changes the grab slam into a stack. Do not reuse Normal positioning for that follow-up.
Tank, healer & DPS assignments
Strategy recommendationSuggested preparation for this encounter. These assignments are editorial recommendations based on the mechanics above.
| Role | Assignment |
|---|---|
| Tank | Stay close to Raur between attacks; aim Auldor away from the group. |
| Healer / support | Top off the stack target and arrive before the hit rather than healing from outside. |
| DPS | Stop during counter stance and prioritize joining the stack over damage. |
After a wipe: fix the cause
Strategy recommendationName the failed mechanic before the next pull. Check whether the target moved too early, the group missed its assignment, or a required cooldown was unavailable. Reassign a backup for any job that can target its original owner. Surviving the mechanic comes before completing a damage rotation.
- Call the next mechanic before the HP threshold; the actual cast may occur later.
- If a hit-count object is involved, use fast direct hits rather than assuming a long damage cooldown is better.
- Save burst for a real vulnerability window after the group has completed its movement.
- Check the current entry panel for loot probabilities and reward availability before spending another run.
