Arcana: choose cards before feeding them
Compare Arcana types, useful skill lines and Pantheon stats before consuming another card as experience.
By AION2 Codex · Reviewed · Global-focused, source-scoped guidance
Quick answer
Compare the card’s type, useful skill lines and divine stat before feeding it. A higher grade with irrelevant lines is not automatically your best card.
Your next three steps
- Check which Arcana slot the card fills.
- Compare its skill lines with your class’s selected build.
- Inspect the experience preview before consuming a card you use.
What to compare
Global launch research lists Chalice, Parchment, Compass, Bell and Mirror. Card types have different skill pools; Chalice has a broader pool, Parchment/Compass concern active skills and Bell/Mirror passive skills. Match the actual rolled skill, not just the card name.
Growth is not a chosen skill upgrade
Cards have a divine stat and rolled lines. The reviewed system levels cards from 0 to 5; growth can improve a random skill line. Feeding resources does not guarantee that your preferred line receives every increase.
- Keep an inexpensive card that supports your current build.
- Check the feeding preview when moving experience to a better card.
- Recheck total skill levels and Specialty choices after changing cards.
A useful comparison
Suppose two cards fill the same slot: one improves a frequently used heal, the other an unused attack. For a healing build, begin by evaluating the heal card alongside its divine stat. That is a role-based comparison, not a claim that every healer needs the same card set.
Continue with your build
