Group PvE Dungeon LOADOUT

Stigmas

Equip these 4 Stigmas

Keep the summon and debuff core. Replace Flame Blessing with Command: Substitute for personal protection, or use the dispel alternative when the group assigns that job.

Joint Corrosion

Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10
✓ Equip · Spirit-damage debuff

Applies periodic damage and increases damage taken from spirits; spirit type changes the accompanying attack/control.

Use in this set: Spirit-damage debuff.

Summon Ancient Spirit

Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10
✓ Equip · Burst summon + Fusion support

Temporary additional spirit whose skill grants the four-element effect; ranks raise its combat stats.

Use in this set: Burst summon + Fusion support.

Stigma upgrade priority — target Lv. 10

Unlock your four equipped Stigmas at Lv. 1 first. Then upgrade them toward Lv. 10 in this order, using Lv. 5 as an intermediate checkpoint. These are investment targets, not the game’s maximum ranks. Upgrade a situational replacement when you actually use it; do not spend on every alternative first.

  1. Joint Corrosion — Lv. 1 → 5 → 10 · Spirit-damage debuff
  2. Summon Ancient Spirit — Lv. 1 → 5 → 10 · Burst summon + Fusion support
  3. Flame Blessing — Lv. 1 → 5 → 10 · Extra attack damage
  4. Spirit Benediction — Lv. 1 → 5 → 10 · Damage buff + sustain

For a regular situational setup, the replacement takes the removed skill’s place in this order. Source notes about other ranks describe those ranks; they are not Lv. 10 effects.

Learn the four choices at 1; work toward useful rank-5 goals before later upgrades.

Stigmas level with Shards. They do not use Mastery Specialty slots.

Other Stigmas — optional reference

Magic Robbery

Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10
Alternative · Remove eligible enemy buffs

Area attack that removes up to two buffs and deals extra damage for removed effects.

Not equipped in this set. Remove eligible enemy buffs.

Assault Fear

Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10
Alternative · Situational alternative

Area HP/MP damage and fear potential; defense rises with targets hit.

Not equipped in this set. Situational alternative.

Command: Substitute

Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10
Alternative · Share damage with a spirit

Raises spirit damage tolerance and shares part of incoming caster damage with a spirit within 25 m; chooses the higher-HP spirit, then the nearer one on a tie.

Not equipped in this set. Share damage with a spirit.

Situational Stigmas

Choose these Stigmas only when the situation applies. Replace the named skill before the encounter and keep exactly four equipped.

Recommended starting set: Summon damage. The checked skills and recommended Specialty options use this starting set. Active-skill and passive investment priorities are shared; review the encounter-specific Specialty notes before changing options.

Share incoming damage

Situation: Keep a healthy spirit within 25 m when using Command: Substitute. This changes the fourth slot; it does not replace your normal summon cycle.

Change one slot: From Summon damage, replace Flame Blessing with Command: Substitute. Keep the other three Stigmas.

Complete alternative set: Joint Corrosion + Summon Ancient Spirit + Spirit Benediction + Command: Substitute.

Command: Substitute

Situational · Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10

Raises spirit damage tolerance and shares part of incoming caster damage with a spirit within 25 m; chooses the higher-HP spirit, then the nearer one on a tie.

Use it: A real PvE defensive option. Keep the chosen spirit alive and in range for the transfer to function.

Magic Robbery

Situation: Assigned to remove enemy buffs?

Change one slot: From Share incoming damage, replace Command: Substitute with Magic Robbery. Keep the other three Stigmas.

Complete alternative set: Joint Corrosion + Summon Ancient Spirit + Spirit Benediction + Magic Robbery.

Magic Robbery

Situational · Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10

Area attack that removes up to two buffs and deals extra damage for removed effects.

Use it: Bring for an encounter with removable enemy buffs; this utility is not inherently PvP-only.

Each example starts from its named set. If you combine changes, check that the outgoing skill is still equipped and that the final bar contains four Stigmas.

Play it in 3 steps

  1. Prepare Spirit Benediction and Flame Blessing when equipped; apply Joint Corrosion and your other debuffs.
  2. Cycle summons → Dimensional Control → Elemental Fusion; use Ancient Spirit during useful uptime.
  3. Finish on Water when MP is limiting. With the protection setup, keep a healthy spirit close; with Magic Robbery, remove eligible enemy buffs when assigned.

Macro Guide

PvE practice layout · adapted to this activity’s equipped Stigmas · Reviewed 9 Oct 2026

Copy the columns, then choose comfortable keys. These are example bindings. Hover or focus a skill for its effects; on touch screens, tap to inspect it.

Skill bar placement

Top: row 3 · Bottom: row 0, checked first. Gold columns belong to the macro.

Gold: macro columns · Blue: manual skills · LMB: basic attack

Example keys: upper manual slots use Shift. Scroll the bar sideways on smaller screens.

0 → 1 → 2 → 3: the first usable skill wins. A repeatable filler placed too early can prevent later skills from firing.

Manual skills · separate bindings

These complete the bar with every remaining active skill and equipped Stigma. Keep each on a separate binding outside the repeating macro. Numbers identify manual slots, not required keys or a cast order. Passive skills do not occupy bar slots.

Set up the in-game macro

  1. Arrange the columns as shown in the Skill screen. Open Macro and add these quick-slot columns:
1 Q column2 E column
  1. Bind Macro to a spare key, for example RMB, in Settings → Key Settings → General. Keep that binding separate from the Q/E columns.
  2. For an initial test, use 50 ms per entry as an editorial starting point. Test on a target dummy; this is not a measured optimum. Reduce or increase it only after checking which skills actually fire.
  3. Hold the macro key during safe damage uptime; release it to stop. Use the basic attack as described below. Manual input takes priority. Step order is not guaranteed: this is not a fixed one-press combo.

Mouse macro bindings need a compatible control mode; check AION 2 Control Mode if they do not work. Preset changes stop the macro. Recheck the columns in each preset.

Only Stigmas equipped in this guide’s current starting set are shown; keep exactly four equipped. When you swap a Stigma, replace its bar slot too.

Written placement · highest priority first

  • LMB: Cold Shock.
  • Q: 0: Summon Water Spirit → 1: Joint Corrosion → 2: Summon Earth Spirit → 3: Summon Fire Spirit.
  • E: 0: Elemental Fusion → 1: Dimensional Control → 2: Joint Curse → 3: Combustion.

Separate manual slots

  • 3: Summon Wind Spirit
  • 4: Spirit Benediction
  • 5: Flame Blessing
  • 6: Summon Ancient Spirit
  • 7: Soul Cry
  • 8: Shock Release
  • 9: Rapid Scatter

Hold Cold Shock on LMB together with the macro key during safe damage uptime. Release for movement, mechanics or manual casts.

How to use this layout

  • The spirit column checks Water, equipped Joint Corrosion, Earth and Fire. The second column checks Elemental Fusion, Dimensional Control, Joint Curse and Combustion. Leave Wind on a manual key for the element or recovery you need.
  • Prepare equipped Flame Blessing and Spirit Benediction before Ancient Spirit. Watch element availability: a Fusion that is not ready is skipped. A simple macro cannot decide which spirit you should finish on.
  • Use Water deliberately when MP recovery matters; pause the loop rather than immediately cycling away. Keep fear, Command: Substitute and emergency recovery manual. Learn the summon cycle before trying faster timings.

Editorial layout, not an in-game DPS benchmark. Regional names, skill levels and selected Specialties can change its behavior. Community class guide · source comparisons · English in-game macro controls.

Passive skills & investment priorities

Max these passives first — in this order

For Group PvE Dungeon, put your passive upgrade points into the priority skills below. Max the first one, then the next, until this list is complete. Do not spread points across optional passives first.

  1. Spirit Strike — max Base Lv. 10
  2. Mental Focus — max Base Lv. 10
  3. Elemental Unification — max Base Lv. 10
  4. Spirit Advent — max Base Lv. 10

Spirit Strike

1. Max first · Base Lv. 10

Raises caster and spirit PvE/PvP damage amplification and perfect-hit chance.

The first core offensive passive in the reviewed developed guide.

Mental Focus

2. Max first · Base Lv. 10

Raises mental-effect accuracy and a bonus-hit stat.

An offensive passive priority; names for bonus-hit stats vary between translations.

Elemental Unification

3. Max first · Base Lv. 10

Spirit skill hits stack critical-damage amplification for both caster and spirit, up to five stacks.

Spirit skill activation and uptime matter; favor useful summon specializations.

Spirit Advent

4. Max first · Base Lv. 10

After summoning, caster hits can trigger extra damage.

A key reason to keep using summons instead of treating the spirit as a permanent passive pet.

Optional passives — after your priorities

Keep these at their initial rank while completing the priority list. Invest leftover points only when their effect helps your build or encounter.

Spirit Protection

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Raises caster and spirit defense.

Take when survival limits progress rather than maximizing damage alone.

Erosion

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Raises critical chance and can apply periodic damage on critical hits.

Supports the damage-over-time ecosystem; invest alongside consistent attack uptime.

Spirit Revitalization

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Hits can reduce summon cooldowns and a low-health spirit can recover HP.

Supports more frequent summon cycles and pet survival.

Reverse Flow

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Attacks against a target taking periodic damage can cause extra damage.

Maintain Joint Curse or another valid periodic effect before relying on this passive.

Spirit Communion

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Raises accuracy and can heal both caster and spirit on hit.

Useful accuracy and incidental sustain; not a guaranteed emergency heal.

Revival Contract

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Status resistance plus increased resistance under specified control and emergency low-health recovery.

A safety investment for dangerous content and PvP.

Passive skills to inspect: Spirit Strike · Mental Focus · Elemental Unification

These follow this build's skill priorities, not a measured ranking of gear rolls. Total 16 opens all Specialty options; total 20 opens the third slot. Count gear, Arcana and Daevanion together.

Before spending on rerolls

  • Keep a useful rare line first. Improve affordable secondary lines afterward; do not chase perfect rolls on temporary gear.
  • Accuracy and Critical Hit needs change with buffs and enemy defenses. Check real encounters instead of copying an unverified cap.
  • Attack increase is a percentage line; Attack is a flat line. Cooldown Reduction is not an ordinary roll on every slot; Illusion is one way to obtain cooldown support.

GLOBAL EU · Magic damage / summons

Spiritmaster consumables

Keep your own resource and movement tools ready while maintaining damage. The Power Shard description establishes an attack bonus but does not separately verify how every summon inherits it.

Role recommendations are editorial. Item effects come from NC’s Global EU records, checked 30 September 2026; the rest of this class guide keeps its own region scope.

Before attacking

Power Shard (Bound)

Activate for attack windows; ordinary shards are the budget starting point.

Timed combat buff

Courage Scroll (Bound)

Check the five-minute timer before a serious pull.

Food choice

Artisan's Roasted Fogus (Bound)

An all-faction attack/accuracy food option from supplies and rewards. A practical choice when already owned; check stock before buying alternatives.

Role priority

Mana Potion

Use before a long, mana-intensive fight: this reduces MP costs for five minutes. It does not instantly refill your mana bar.

Personal emergency

Life Crystal (Bound)

Check the level requirement. Keep instant recovery reachable; avoid overhealing.

Use attack/accuracy food as a general attacking choice and reserve instant MP recovery for a real deficit. Do not multiply a shard bonus across pets or periodic effects without a verified interaction.

Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound) is an optional damage-and-survival addition for serious attempts. Superior Healing Potion is a personal cleanse for eligible effects, not an HP heal.

Quick start: role, strengths and tradeoffs

Build recommendation

Spiritmaster is an active summoner: repeated summons fuel passives, Dimensional Control and Elemental Fusion. Spirit choice also solves practical problems—Water for MP, Wind for healing, Earth for threat and Fire for damage.

TopicPractical meaning
StrengthFlexible pet utility, repeated elemental attacks and sustained periodic damage.
TradeoffWasted four-element activations and poor summon order reduce value; pet range and survival matter.
Solo versus groupEarth threat and Wind sustain can solve solo problems, but group tanking and pet positioning need coordination.

Choose a four-slot PvE Stigma loadout

Build recommendation

Equip one row, not every listed Stigma simultaneously. These are editorial presets derived from the mechanics and reviewed builds; change the flex slot for an actual encounter requirement.

PresetFour StigmasWhen to use it
Four-slot PvE coreJoint Corrosion; Summon Ancient Spirit; Flame Blessing; Spirit BenedictionDebuff, burst summon and two offensive/sustain buffs.
Dangerous progressionJoint Corrosion; Summon Ancient Spirit; Spirit Benediction; Command: SubstituteReplace a damage buff with planned damage sharing; keep the spirit within 25 m.
Encounter utilityReplace the least-needed offensive flex with Magic Robbery or DrainDispel for removable enemy buffs; Drain for meaningful resource/survival pressure.

Before the pull

Build recommendation

Check your preset, resource bar, selected specialties and party assignments before starting. A developed rotation only works when its rank-dependent effects are actually equipped.

  1. Confirm the party role and required survival or control tool.
  2. Confirm your main skill-rank thresholds in the skill screen after changing gear.
  3. Use the appropriate consumable and position for both damage and party support.
  4. Identify the first dangerous mechanic and reserve the skill that answers it.

Opening rotation: step by step

Build recommendation

Use this as a decision sequence. Skip unavailable conditional skills and interrupt for mechanics; do not stand idle waiting for the entire opener to return.

  1. Activate Spirit Benediction and Flame Blessing before committing the damage window.
  2. Apply Joint Corrosion and Joint Curse for their different debuff functions.
  3. Cycle the normal summons; the early mana-oriented example finishes on Summon Water Spirit.
  4. Use Dimensional Control after a summon and spend Elemental Fusion when four elements are ready.
  5. Use Summon Ancient Spirit during stable uptime and consume the repeated Fusion opportunities. Fill with Combustion and Cold Shock for damage and resources.

Single-target priority and resource loop

Build recommendation

The next correct action depends on buffs, target state, resources and the upcoming mechanic.

PriorityActionExecution
1Spirit / safety stateCheck range and survival; choose the spirit that solves the current problem.
2Elemental FusionSpend a ready four-element state before wasting further stack generation.

4Joint Corrosion / Joint CurseMaintain distinct pet-damage and periodic-damage conditions.
5Summon cycle / Combustion / Cold ShockKeep summon-triggered effects working and finish on Water when MP demands it.

Skill progression and specialty milestones

Build recommendation

Total skill level includes bonus ranks. Mastery Specialty slots open at total levels 8, 12 and 20: one, two and three slots respectively. All five options are available at total 16, but only two can be selected until total 20. Stigma milestones are separate and must be read on the specific skill.

Passive skills: what earns its points

Build recommendation

Spirit Strike is the first developed offensive priority, followed by Mental Focus and relevant Elemental Unification/Spirit Revitalization value. Spirit Advent rewards repeated summons. Reverse Flow requires periodic damage on the target, so maintain Joint Curse or another qualifying effect. Official descriptions take precedence where a video loosely attributes a bonus-hit stat to the wrong category.

Packs, area damage and farming

Build recommendation

Finish the summon cycle on Fire for a damage-focused pack or Water when mana is limiting. Use the pet-specific effects of Joint Curse/Joint Corrosion, place area damage on the gathered enemies and spend Fusion rather than remaining capped. Earth threat can be useful solo but should not unexpectedly pull a dungeon boss away from the tank.

Group mechanics, survival and utility

Build recommendation

Keep Command: Substitute's chosen spirit within 25 m and healthy enough to absorb shared damage. Recheck the summon after travel or transitions. Hold fear/control for an intended use so enemies do not scatter out of party damage. Summon Ancient Spirit when the boss will remain targetable long enough to exploit its activations.

Daevanion: route priorities

Build recommendation

aLuckyRO prioritizes attack and cooldown reduction plus summon ranks before early combat-speed detours, because repeated summons drive the build. Add damage/critical-damage paths and useful active/passive ranks by shortest connected route. This is an early resource recommendation, not a claim that combat speed has zero value on every developed character.

Select the destination, inspect all prerequisite nodes and compare the total cost. A nearby useful passive can make a slightly different route better than the shortest route through irrelevant bonuses. Save the preset before testing a different role.

Bonus skill ranks: board, accessories and Arcana

Build recommendation

A developed example reaches Combustion and Elemental Fusion 20 through 10 basic, 4 board, 2 ring and 4 Arcana ranks. Use that as a budgeting example; actual sources can differ. Storyteller deprioritizes ranks above the useful specialty thresholds, which is a spending recommendation rather than a claim that extra ranks have no effect.

Gear and stat decisions

Build recommendation

Compare damage amplification, attack, accuracy and critical alongside the ranks that make the summon/Fusion loop work. Cooldown and resource stability deserve attention before blindly copying another caster's speed priorities. Keep the spirit alive and in range; a theoretical pet-damage upgrade does little while the pet cannot contribute.

Compare the same encounter and buff conditions. Accuracy is a requirement against the actual target, not one universal number. A rank threshold, a survivable hit or a sustainable resource loop can be worth more than a small increase in displayed combat power.

Equipment checklist by slot

Build recommendation

Use this as an upgrade worksheet. Exact affix pools and item tiers depend on the item record; do not assume every desired effect can roll on every slot.

SlotLook forDecision rule
Weapon / offhandMain damage and available offensive rollsCompare attack, useful speed/amplification and cost; retain the core skill-rank plan.
ArmorSurvival and relevant specialty affixesSolve the mechanic that kills you; then compare offensive affixes actually present in that item pool.

Rings / accessoriesFunctional skill ranks and appropriate statsComplete a useful total-rank threshold before paying heavily for cosmetic combat-power gains.
Manastones / rerollsOne affordable useful improvement firstDo not exhaust the budget chasing several perfect rolls on an item being replaced soon.

Arcana planning

Build recommendation

Combustion and Elemental Fusion ranks are the clearest developed targets in the reviewed sources, with Spirit Strike and useful passives following. Evaluate the actual rank gap before buying a roll. Do not invent a fixed five-piece set ratio from a video that only establishes skill-rank priorities.

Food buffs and sustain

Build recommendation

The linked items below are official reference-client crafted-food records. Values and durations belong to those records. Choose a food that solves the current damage, resource or survival need; do not assume overlapping food effects stack.

In-game macro and manual controls

Build recommendation

Use the built-in macro only for the repeatable damage portion you have tested. Keep control breaks, important defensives, group healing, charged casts and unsafe movement deliberate. Start with basic-attack/spender resource weaving, then add one priority at a time. Verify that attacks actually fire and the resource bar stays stable. Creator delay values depend on speed, latency and input settings; copy the logic before the timing.

Common mistakes and source disagreements

Build recommendation

Joint Curse, Joint Corrosion and Joint Destruction are different skills despite ambiguous automatic captions. Official Fusion stacks come from summoning; use that description rather than an imprecise claim that every pet hit grants a stack. Dispel and damage sharing can have PvE uses even if a beginner video labels them PvP-only.

Upgrade order and a useful practice check

Build recommendation

Spend to remove the current bottleneck, then retest under comparable conditions.

  1. Make the four-slot loadout functional and equip the useful early specialties.
  2. Complete the main bonus-rank threshold through the cheapest available combination of board and equipment.
  3. Address misses, resource failure or deaths before chasing a marginal damage reroll.
  4. Practice a full sustained window, then a moving/interrupting window; track missed procs and expired buffs.
  5. Reassess the flex slot for the next dungeon rather than copying a fixed preset everywhere.
