Group PvE Dungeon LOADOUT

Stigmas

Equip these 4 Stigmas

Keep Invincibility Mantra and Power of the Gale. Start with Healing Touch and Barrier Spell for recovery and a planned survival window; change both flex slots for the more offensive setup.

Invincibility Mantra

Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10
✓ Equip · Party damage/protection toggle

Party damage amplification/tolerance toggle; does not stack with Cleric's Light of Protection. Higher skill level wins, Chanter wins a tie.

Later progression reference beyond the current Lv. 10 target: Use in this set: Party damage/protection toggle.

Power of the Gale

Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10
✓ Equip · Party speed + cooldown support

Party combat-speed buff and cooldown reduction; recipients cannot gain Cleric's corresponding Earth blessing effect for one minute.

Use in this set: Party speed + cooldown support.

Barrier Spell

Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10
✓ Equip · Planned party survival window

Temporarily prevents party HP from dropping below a threshold, with exceptions for powerful attacks and a shared anti-immunity lockout.

Use in this set: Planned party survival window.

Stigma upgrade priority — target Lv. 10

Unlock your four equipped Stigmas at Lv. 1 first. Then upgrade them toward Lv. 10 in this order, using Lv. 5 as an intermediate checkpoint. These are investment targets, not the game’s maximum ranks. Upgrade a situational replacement when you actually use it; do not spend on every alternative first.

  1. Invincibility Mantra — Lv. 1 → 5 → 10 · Party damage/protection toggle
  2. Power of the Gale — Lv. 1 → 5 → 10 · Party speed + cooldown support
  3. Healing Touch — Lv. 1 → 5 → 10 · Mobile party healing
  4. Barrier Spell — Lv. 1 → 5 → 10 · Planned party survival window

For a regular situational setup, the replacement takes the removed skill’s place in this order. Source notes about other ranks describe those ranks; they are not Lv. 10 effects.

Coordinate Mantra with Cleric Protection. Barrier Spell cannot prevent every powerful attack.

Stigmas level with Shards. They do not use Mastery Specialty slots.

Not equipped in this set. Situational alternative.

Situational Stigmas

Choose these Stigmas only when the situation applies. Replace the named skill before the encounter and keep exactly four equipped.

Recommended starting set: Recovery and group survival. The checked skills and recommended Specialty options use this starting set. Active-skill and passive investment priorities are shared; review the encounter-specific Specialty notes before changing options.

Damage with repeated-hit protection

Situation: When direct recovery and the planned Barrier Spell window are less important, replace Healing Touch with Crushing Blow AND Barrier Spell with Power of Protection. Keep Mantra and Gale in both sets.

Change both slots: From Recovery and group survival, replace Healing Touch + Barrier Spell with Crushing Blow + Power of Protection.

Complete alternative set: Invincibility Mantra + Power of the Gale + Crushing Blow + Power of Protection.

Crushing Blow

Situational · Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10

Rapid gap-closing hit that lowers enemy defense; deals more damage against impact-controlled targets.

Use it: An offensive debuff and movement tool. Apply safely before the burst window.

Power of Protection

Situational · Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10

Temporarily generates HP-scaled shields when the caster or nearby party members take attacks.

Use it: Use ahead of repeated group damage, not after the danger has ended.

Power of Protection

Situation: Repeated hits need shields instead?

Change one slot: From Recovery and group survival, replace Barrier Spell with Power of Protection. Keep the other three Stigmas.

Complete alternative set: Invincibility Mantra + Power of the Gale + Healing Touch + Power of Protection.

Power of Protection

Situational · Stigma Lv. 1 → 5 → 10

Temporarily generates HP-scaled shields when the caster or nearby party members take attacks.

Use it: Use ahead of repeated group damage, not after the danger has ended.

Each example starts from its named set. If you combine changes, check that the outgoing skill is still equipped and that the final bar contains four Stigmas.

Play it in 3 steps

  1. Coordinate Invincibility Mantra with Cleric Protection, and align Power of the Gale with party burst.
  2. Spinning Strike → Dark Crush; continue Backdraft Crush opportunities. Add Crushing Blow only when it is equipped.
  3. Keep Healing Touch, Recuperation and Barrier Spell for group needs. In the alternative set, use Power of Protection for repeated-hit shielding.

Macro Guide

PvE practice layout · adapted to this activity’s equipped Stigmas · Reviewed 9 Oct 2026

Copy the columns, then choose comfortable keys. These are example bindings. Hover or focus a skill for its effects; on touch screens, tap to inspect it.

Skill bar placement

Top: row 3 · Bottom: row 0, checked first. Gold columns belong to the macro.

Gold: macro columns · Blue: manual skills · LMB: basic attack

Example keys: upper manual slots use Shift. Scroll the bar sideways on smaller screens.

0 → 1 → 2 → 3: the first usable skill wins. A repeatable filler placed too early can prevent later skills from firing.

Manual skills · separate bindings

These complete the bar with every remaining active skill and equipped Stigma. Keep each on a separate binding outside the repeating macro. Numbers identify manual slots, not required keys or a cast order. Passive skills do not occupy bar slots.

Set up the in-game macro

  1. Arrange the columns as shown in the Skill screen. Open Macro and add these quick-slot columns:
1 Q column
  1. Bind Macro to a spare key, for example RMB, in Settings → Key Settings → General. Keep that binding separate from the Q/E columns.
  2. For an initial test, use 50 ms per entry as an editorial starting point. Test on a target dummy; this is not a measured optimum. Reduce or increase it only after checking which skills actually fire.
  3. Hold the macro key during safe damage uptime; release it to stop. Use the basic attack as described below. Manual input takes priority. Step order is not guaranteed: this is not a fixed one-press combo.

Mouse macro bindings need a compatible control mode; check AION 2 Control Mode if they do not work. Preset changes stop the macro. Recheck the columns in each preset.

Only Stigmas equipped in this guide’s current starting set are shown; keep exactly four equipped. When you swap a Stigma, replace its bar slot too.

Written placement · highest priority first

  • LMB: Slaughter.
  • Q: 0: Dark Crush → 1: Spinning Strike → 2: Backdraft Crush → 3: Inexorable Blow.

Separate manual slots

  • 2: Power of the Gale
  • 3: Invincibility Mantra
  • 4: Recuperation
  • 5: Rushing Smash
  • 6: Wave Blow
  • 7: Shock Release
  • 8: Gust Rampage
  • 9: Headlong Blow
  • 0: Tremor Crash
  • -: Healing Touch
  • =: Barrier Spell

Hold Slaughter on LMB together with the macro key during safe damage uptime. Release for movement, mechanics or manual casts.

How to use this layout

  • Dark Crush takes an available trigger window; Spinning Strike and Backdraft Crush open further opportunities, while Inexorable Blow fills the gaps. References may call these Impactful Crush and Incandescent Blow.
  • The repeated Dark Crush setup needs its cooldown-removal Specialty at total Lv. 16. Until it is selected, play the triggers deliberately and expect more filler. Weave Slaughter for MP and its selected cooldown support.
  • Activate your equipped Mantras manually and leave their toggles out of the repeating macro. Time Power of the Gale with party damage. Recuperation, protection, Marchutan's Wrath and gap closing remain under your control.

Passive skills & investment priorities

Max these passives first — in this order

For Group PvE Dungeon, put your passive upgrade points into the priority skills below. Max the first one, then the next, until this list is complete. Do not spread points across optional passives first.

  1. Attack Preparation — max Base Lv. 10
  2. Wind's Promise — max Base Lv. 10
  3. Inspiring Spell — max Base Lv. 10
  4. Blessing of Life — max Base Lv. 10

Attack Preparation

1. Max first · Base Lv. 10

Raises damage amplification, defense and accuracy.

An early priority for broad combat value; the official reference-client text contains a duplicated PvE label, so no invented PvP value is listed.

Wind's Promise

2. Max first · Base Lv. 10

Raises critical-damage amplification and can add damage on critical hits.

A core offensive passive that benefits from reliable critical chance.

Inspiring Spell

3. Max first · Base Lv. 10

Raises critical and perfect-hit chance.

A main offensive passive after establishing the core rotation.

Blessing of Life

4. Max first · Base Lv. 10

Raises maximum HP and healing amplification based on attack.

Supports a progression/healing role as well as personal survival.

Optional passives — after your priorities

Keep these at their initial rank while completing the priority list. Invest leftover points only when their effect helps your build or encounter.

Cross Guard

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Raises block and heals after a successful block.

Conditional defense; less central than reliable damage passives for comfortable farming.

Protective Circle

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Hits build stacks; ten grant a party shield and can refresh it. Also grants a separate low-health personal shield.

Attack uptime contributes group protection, but do not rely on a proc alone for a lethal mechanic.

Impact Hit

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Raises impact accuracy and a bonus-hit stat.

A situational investment; evaluate its actual tooltip instead of calling every component PvP-only.

Raging Spell

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Adds damage against impact-controlled or staggered targets.

Prioritize with Gust Rampage for boss-stagger play; lower priority in ordinary quest farming.

Earth's Promise

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Hits periodically reduce enemy PvE/PvP damage tolerance; the reduction does not apply alongside Cleric's Chain of Torment.

Coordinate with Cleric rather than counting both debuffs as additive.

Survival Willpower

Optional · upgrade after the priority list

Raises resistance and defensive benefits under specified control effects.

Useful when control pressure is a real threat; does not replace Shock Release.

These follow this build's skill priorities, not a measured ranking of gear rolls. Total 16 opens all Specialty options; total 20 opens the third slot. Count gear, Arcana and Daevanion together.

Before spending on rerolls

  • Keep a useful rare line first. Improve affordable secondary lines afterward; do not chase perfect rolls on temporary gear.
  • Accuracy and Critical Hit needs change with buffs and enemy defenses. Check real encounters instead of copying an unverified cap.
  • Attack increase is a percentage line; Attack is a flat line. Cooldown Reduction is not an ordinary roll on every slot; Illusion is one way to obtain cooldown support.

GLOBAL EU · Support / melee

Chanter consumables

Prepare both attacking uptime and personal sustain. Refresh consumables in safe gaps while keeping your group responsibilities ahead of an extra damage action.

Role recommendations are editorial. Item effects come from NC’s Global EU records, checked 30 September 2026; the rest of this class guide keeps its own region scope.

Before attacking

Power Shard (Bound)

Activate for attack windows; ordinary shards are the budget starting point.

Timed combat buff

Courage Scroll (Bound)

Check the five-minute timer before a serious pull.

Food choice

Artisan's Roasted Fogus (Bound)

An all-faction attack/accuracy food option from supplies and rewards. A practical choice when already owned; check stock before buying alternatives.

Role priority

Absorption Scroll (Bound)

Use before predictable incoming damage. The per-hit limit and total absorption cap are different limits; this is a finite shield, not immunity.

Personal emergency

Life Crystal (Bound)

Check the level requirement. Keep instant recovery reachable; avoid overhealing.

Use attack/accuracy food for comfortable fights and choose survivability when progression demands it. Carry MP recovery if your support rotation is resource-limited; do not assume consumables stack with every party buff.

Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound) is an optional damage-and-survival addition for serious attempts. Superior Healing Potion is a personal cleanse for eligible effects, not an HP heal.

Quick start: role, strengths and tradeoffs

Build recommendation

Chanter combines a Dark Crush damage chain with party buffs, cleansing, recovery and protective effects. Good support play means preserving those tools for the incoming mechanic while continuing damage when the group is stable.

TopicPractical meaning
StrengthParty offensive/defensive support while maintaining an active melee/ranged-trigger damage chain.
TradeoffEarly MP and support timing require attention; a full damage macro does not decide when the party needs a cleanse.
Group roleCoordinate overlapping buffs with Cleric and assign recovery/mitigation instead of duplicating every effect.

Choose a four-slot PvE Stigma loadout

Build recommendation

Equip one row, not every listed Stigma simultaneously. These are editorial presets derived from the mechanics and reviewed builds; change the flex slot for an actual encounter requirement.

PresetFour StigmasWhen to use it
Group PvE supportInvincibility Mantra; Power of the Gale; Crushing Blow; Power of ProtectionCore party buff, burst support, debuff and planned mitigation.
Comfortable damage farmInvincibility Mantra; Crushing Blow; Marchutan's Wrath; Speed MantraMore damage-chain/travel utility where the party does not need extra mitigation.
High recovery demandInvincibility Mantra; Power of the Gale; Healing Touch; Barrier SpellTrade damage flexes for healing and a planned survival response; use the slots your current rank allows.

Before the pull

Build recommendation

Check your preset, resource bar, selected specialties and party assignments before starting. A developed rotation only works when its rank-dependent effects are actually equipped.

  1. Confirm the party role and required survival or control tool.
  2. Confirm your main skill-rank thresholds in the skill screen after changing gear.
  3. Use the appropriate consumable and position for both damage and party support.
  4. Identify the first dangerous mechanic and reserve the skill that answers it.

Opening rotation: step by step

Build recommendation

Use this as a decision sequence. Skip unavailable conditional skills and interrupt for mechanics; do not stand idle waiting for the entire opener to return.

  1. Confirm which Cleric/Chanter buff will apply and activate Invincibility Mantra where it benefits the group.
  2. Time Power of the Gale with party burst and apply Crushing Blow safely if equipped.
  3. Use Spinning Strike to establish its critical-damage benefit, then spend the Dark Crush activation.
  4. Continue Backdraft Crush into Dark Crush and weave Slaughter with Inexorable Blow between priority windows.
  5. Keep Recuperation and major protective skills outside the damage macro; interrupt the loop for a meaningful cleanse or group recovery.

Single-target priority and resource loop

Build recommendation

The next correct action depends on buffs, target state, resources and the upcoming mechanic.

PriorityActionExecution
1Group mechanicA needed cleanse, shield or recovery overrides another attack.
2Dark CrushConsume activation; avoid wasting another trigger first.
3Spinning StrikeMaintain the critical-damage benefit and use its trigger relationship.
4Backdraft Crush / selected trigger StigmaMarchutan's Wrath adds a trigger but its stationary cast is a movement tradeoff.
5Inexorable Blow / SlaughterUse the resource builder and spender together; Gust Rampage belongs to actual stagger windows.

Skill progression and specialty milestones

Build recommendation

Total skill level includes bonus ranks. Mastery Specialty slots open at total levels 8, 12 and 20: one, two and three slots respectively. All five options are available at total 16, but only two can be selected until total 20. Stigma milestones are separate and must be read on the specific skill.

SkillMilestoneWhat changes
SlaughterEarly level 8MP recovery for sustained attacks.
Inexorable BlowEarly specialtyMP reduction first; single-target damage once resources permit.
Dark CrushCore investmentCritical-oriented early damage choice; HP absorption is a survival alternative.
Spinning StrikeEarly cooldown optionThe reviewed setup takes the five-second reduction.
RecuperationHealing investmentConsecutive casts improve flexibility and allow separate cleansing responses.
Invincibility MantraDeveloped priorityaLuckyRO prioritizes its progression after the functional loadout, including his level-10 accuracy milestone and later level-20 goal.
Crushing Blow / Marchutan's WrathSource-build level 5 goalsEstablish useful cooldown/damage-trigger functionality before spreading Stigma ranks thin.

Passive skills: what earns its points

Build recommendation

Attack Preparation, Wind's Promise and Inspiring Spell are the main offensive direction. Raging Spell becomes more useful with actual boss stagger opportunities and Gust Rampage. Blessing of Life and Protective Circle support a progression group; do not copy a solo-farm dismissal of those tools into a healing-demanding dungeon. Earth's Promise overlaps Cleric Chain of Torment.

Packs, area damage and farming

Build recommendation

Stand where Recuperation and party protection can reach allies while keeping the pack in front of the tank. Use Spinning Strike and the core chain on collected enemies. Avoid spending a cleanse because a damage macro reached that line. For stagger checks, coordinate Obliterate and Gust Rampage if those tools are in the preset.

Group mechanics, survival and utility

Build recommendation

Group recovery priority: move into coverage, remove a dangerous weakening effect with Recuperation, stabilize HP, then resume damage. Use Power of Protection ahead of repeated hits and Barrier Spell for the assigned survival window; powerful attacks can bypass it. Healing Touch is the extra recovery flex. Coordinate with the Cleric so both players do not spend their strongest answer on the same minor hit.

Cleric pairing: avoid duplicate support

Build recommendation

Agree on responsibilities before the pull.

FunctionSkillsCoordination
Damage/tolerance auraInvincibility Mantra vs Light of ProtectionHigher level applies; Chanter wins an equal-level tie.
Enemy tolerance reductionEarth's Promise vs Chain of TormentDo not count both reductions together.
Burst supportPower of the GaleCoordinate the one-minute exclusion for the corresponding Cleric Earth blessing effect.
RecoveryRecuperation / Healing TouchChanter covers planned cleanse or recovery while Cleric handles the agreed next response.
Emergency survivalBarrier SpellAccount for shared survival-effect lockouts and powerful-attack exceptions.

Daevanion: route priorities

Build recommendation

Route through Attack Preparation, Wind's Promise and core Dark Crush/Spinning Strike value, taking reachable attack/combat speed and critical-damage nodes. aLuckyRO deliberately avoids expensive low-value detours in an early farming build. For a group-healing preset, the value of Blessing of Life and protection differs; do not erase those needs merely to match his solo route.

Select the destination, inspect all prerequisite nodes and compare the total cost. A nearby useful passive can make a slightly different route better than the shortest route through irrelevant bonuses. Save the preset before testing a different role.

Bonus skill ranks: board, accessories and Arcana

Build recommendation

Prioritize the main damage chain and the healing utility you actually use. Total skill ranks come from points, board and equipment/Arcana; plan a complete useful threshold rather than adding a little to every skill. Keep separate solo and party presets so a resource-efficient farming setup does not remove required group recovery.

Gear and stat decisions

Build recommendation

Attack contributes to Blessing of Life's healing amplification, while accuracy and offensive stats sustain the damage loop. Compare attack, critical, combat speed and relevant ranks; retain HP/tolerance when you are exposed in melee. If the group needs healing, evaluate the recovery result as well as personal damage rather than copying a pure damage ranking.

Compare the same encounter and buff conditions. Accuracy is a requirement against the actual target, not one universal number. A rank threshold, a survivable hit or a sustainable resource loop can be worth more than a small increase in displayed combat power.

Equipment checklist by slot

Build recommendation

Use this as an upgrade worksheet. Exact affix pools and item tiers depend on the item record; do not assume every desired effect can roll on every slot.

SlotLook forDecision rule
Weapon / offhandMain damage and available offensive rollsCompare attack, useful speed/amplification and cost; retain the core skill-rank plan.
ArmorSurvival and relevant specialty affixesSolve the mechanic that kills you; then compare offensive affixes actually present in that item pool.
Gloves / bootsUseful speed and movementMovement improves mechanic execution; speed value depends on the class loop.
Rings / accessoriesFunctional skill ranks and appropriate statsComplete a useful total-rank threshold before paying heavily for cosmetic combat-power gains.
Manastones / rerollsOne affordable useful improvement firstDo not exhaust the budget chasing several perfect rolls on an item being replaced soon.
ArcanaRanks plus a coherent set effectCount the resulting skill levels after each replacement.

Arcana planning

Build recommendation

Target Dark Crush and Spinning Strike for the damage chain, then the passive or Recuperation ranks that support the chosen role. Preserve the equipped specialties when changing a set. The reviewed sources do not demonstrate a universal Arcana ratio for both solo damage and group recovery.

Food buffs and sustain

Build recommendation

The linked items below are official reference-client crafted-food records. Values and durations belong to those records. Choose a food that solves the current damage, resource or survival need; do not assume overlapping food effects stack.

In-game macro and manual controls

Build recommendation

Use the built-in macro only for the repeatable damage portion you have tested. Keep control breaks, important defensives, group healing, charged casts and unsafe movement deliberate. Start with basic-attack/spender resource weaving, then add one priority at a time. Verify that attacks actually fire and the resource bar stays stable. Creator delay values depend on speed, latency and input settings; copy the logic before the timing.

Common mistakes and source disagreements

Build recommendation

Invincibility Mantra and Cleric Light of Protection do not stack: higher level wins, Chanter wins equal levels. Earth's Promise tolerance reduction does not add to Chain of Torment. Power of the Gale also has a Cleric-buff exclusion window. A support slot should be selected with the actual party composition.

Upgrade order and a useful practice check

Build recommendation

Spend to remove the current bottleneck, then retest under comparable conditions.

  1. Make the four-slot loadout functional and equip the useful early specialties.
  2. Complete the main bonus-rank threshold through the cheapest available combination of board and equipment.
  3. Address misses, resource failure or deaths before chasing a marginal damage reroll.
  4. Practice a full sustained window, then a moving/interrupting window; track missed procs and expired buffs.
  5. Reassess the flex slot for the next dungeon rather than copying a fixed preset everywhere.
