Abyss, rifts, arenas and battlegrounds
Choose a PvP mode, understand equipment equalisation and check the current access and reward limits.

Quick answer
Choose whether you want faction objectives or a structured match. Check the current mode rules: gear equalisation differs between arenas and battlegrounds.
Your next three steps
- Read the mode’s unlock and Item Level requirement.
- Check the schedule, entry allowance and reward limits.
- Prepare a PvP skill plan and learn the objective before queuing.
Choose the fight
The Global reference describes 1v1 and 5v5 arenas with equipment progression, and 10v10 battlegrounds with gear and skills equalised. Equalisation does not remove positioning, teamwork or objective rules. Read the queue panel to confirm the current arrangement.
The Abyss and rifts
The cited launch research lists level 45 and Item Level 1,000 for the Abyss, with a weekly time allowance. Rifts, bosses and sieges have separate schedules. Use the game’s server-time display and current countdown instead of a copied clock from another region.
Prepare for control and objectives
Find your class’s control-break skill and understand when to use it. Keep an escape option for dangerous terrain or an enemy follow-up. In objective modes, agree whether the team is escorting, defending or regrouping; chasing one kill can abandon the win condition.
- Check reward limits before arranging repeated matches.
- Assess PvP-specific equipment effects for the selected mode.
- Do not use our Combat Power leaderboard as proof of arena rank.

Schedules and queue rules can change. No live event timer or verified PvP ranking is supplied here; our class presets currently focus on PvE activities.
