Combat stats, party roles and stagger checks

Read conditional stats, coordinate party jobs and prepare stagger skills without relying on unverified universal stat caps.

By AION2 Codex · Reviewed · Global-focused, source-scoped guidance

Quick answer

Choose stats for the target and your role, then prepare the mechanic the party must execute. A stronger sheet cannot compensate for missing a required stagger or healing window.

Your next three steps

  1. Read the skill effects and conditional stat tooltips.
  2. Agree who positions the boss, supports the party and handles mechanics.
  3. Keep the required stagger skills ready for the encounter cue.

Compare the right numbers

Attack, Attack Bonus, percentages and conditional Boss/PvE effects are not identical labels. Accuracy and Critical Hit interact with target defenses and skill effects. Published Asian-release measurements and Global tooltip caps conflict; we do not present 80% or a single Accuracy target as a verified universal Global rule.

Stagger is a party task

The reviewed guide describes a gauge below boss HP that eligible skills reduce. Some encounters expose it during a timed cast. Save the required tools, use them when the gauge becomes active and follow the boss-specific guide. Ordinary damage and stagger contribution are different measurements.

Coordinate buffs and threat

Check overlapping buffs when assembling the party. The references distinguish Templar’s taunt tools from Gladiator’s attack-based threat. Our recommendation: name a primary tank, avoid unexpected boss turns, and tell the healer before changing your movement or defensive plan.

Test a stat change fairly

Use the same activity, target, supplies and rotation when comparing two setups. Record whether positioning and mechanics changed. Our base-stat gear comparison is a planning aid; it is not a measured DPS result or an encounter simulator.

Sources, evidence & version scope

No exact Global damage formula, universal cap or optimal stat weighting is independently verified by this guide. Target and patch differences matter.
